With the new sorting station, B.PRO has created a solution for the growing requirements at daycare centres and schools. If offers clear processes, child-friendly orientation and a sorting logic in line with legal requirements.
New EU requirements stipulate that organisations must measurably reduce waste. At the same time, staff shortages and the right to all-day care are exacerbating the catering situation at daycare centres and schools. One solution: the new BASIC LINE sorting station from B.PRO.
B.PRO BASIC LINE sorting station
- The convection-cooled BASIC LINE UK model has been completely revised to simplify handling and cleaning for users. The cooling tray is now made of individual segments that are easy to remove and clean in the dishwasher. Integrated ventilation grates ensure optimal cool air circulation and prevent food from falling into gaps during serving.
- Thanks to smaller spacing between wells, all food is easy to reach; the food counter can also be accessed from both sides.
- Since height adjustment comes as standard, GN containers can be positioned as required, including at an angle. Optional insert bases and hanging frames are the ideal complement – perfect for clear and appealing food presentation.

The BASIC LINE bridge attachment has also been refined. The fold-down sneeze guard makes switching between standard service and self-service a quick and easy task during mealtimes. This means that the unit can be adapted at any time without having to be converted – catering to different volumes of customers, times of the day and staffing conditions.
BASIC LINE Kids diagonal: child-friendly and inclusive
The new BASIC LINE Kids diagonal offers a significantly improved user experience, especially for daycare centres and schools.
- Thanks to smaller spacing between wells, all food is easy to reach; the food counter can also be accessed from both sides.
- The ergonomic serving height of 750 millimetres makes it easy for children to reach food and also ensures optimal accessibility for wheelchair users.
- The cover can also be optionally extended to enable trays to be placed more conveniently based on their size.
- The sneeze guard has also been redesigned with rounded corners to enhance safety.

The B.PRO BASIC LINE is available in four designs.
Smart – the cost-effective starter model
The B.PRO BASIC LINE Smart embodies the perfect basic equipment. Its modules in body colour traffic grey B (RAL 7043) look elegant and match practically every ambience. A stainless-steel bridge attachment with a convenient pass-through height of 280 mm is available for hot and cold buffets.
Emotion – because life is better in colour
With the Emotion model, you enjoy all the benefits of the Smart version with added front panelling in the B.PRO colours to turn up the feel-good factor. Another practical feature: the customer-side stainless-steeltray slide with round tubes.
Design – that works
Unleash your creativity: Choose from over 180 decors for your Resopal front panelling and tray slides. Doubling as a shelf and sneeze guard, the elegant Highline bridge attachment adds extra value to your food serving.
Kids – for mini gourmets
The 750-mm serving height of the BASIC LINE Kids (available for the hot buffet, cold buffet with active, still cooling, cold buffet with active convection cooling and plain buffet) is designedfor children of nursery and primary school age. On the Smart, Emotion and Design equipment versions, the tray slide can simply be lowered for older children.
Safety first: The tray slides can be locked in place. If required, fold-up cover panels protect the on/off switches and temperature controller of the hot or plain buffets.
Functionality down to the last detail
The glass shelves fitted on one or both sides fulfil the function of the sneeze guard. As an additional shelf, they can be loaded with up to 10 kg. Thanks to the high pass-through height, GN containers can be easily exchanged and the food is clearly visible.
