B.PRO and football – a perfect team effort
When the whistle blows in the stadium, a logistical masterstroke begins behind the scenes: Kitchen teams have to cater for hundreds or even thousands of guests at very short notice, reliably and flexibly. B.PRO has been supplying the right catering equipment for this for years and has thus established itself as a sought-after partner in professional football
Football thrives on timing and team spirit – qualities that also define professional stadium catering. At this intersection, B.PRO has positioned itself as a reliable partner in recent years, whether in ongoing commitments or completed projects. Examples from Karlsruhe and Hamburg show what this task can look like in detail.

Hospitality technology at KSC – WildparkTaste relies on B.PRO
Since July 2023, the 5-star superior hotel Traube Tonbach from Baiersbronn, under the brand “WildparkTaste – Made by Traube Tonbach”, has been responsible for hospitality catering at the BBBank Wildpark of Karlsruher SC. Operations Manager and Executive Chef is Sebastian Holy. His goal: to offer business guests excellent cuisine and a coherent football experience on match days – within tight time windows around kick-off.
Holy illustrates the scale of this task with specific figures: “We welcome around 1,500 guests; when a top fixture such as Schalke versus KSC is scheduled, however, that figure can rise to 1,800 guests. On match days, I am responsible for a team of up to 200 employees, including kitchen assistants, temporary service staff and bar staff.”

B.PROTHERM and B. PRO COOK as valuable support
The kitchen team relies primarily on two appliance lines from B.PRO: B.PROTHERM units for the basic kitchen setup, and B.PRO COOK as a flexible cooking station for finishing dishes immediately before service.
“When we finish the prepared meals on match days, the cooking station is invaluable to us. We can grill, boil or fry everything to perfection,” Holy says, describing the use of B.PRO COOK. He particularly appreciates the scope for customising the appliance: “In many respects, it can be configured to suit your own needs. I also like the integrated extractor hood, which ensures that guests are not bothered by kitchen smells during front cooking.”

The B.PROTHERM line, in turn, is designed for heavy continuous use and delivers the necessary performance to keep large quantities of prepared food hot and produce more continuously on match days. Operations Manager Sebastian Holy draws a clear conclusion: “With stadium catering, I need to be able to rely not only on my staff, but also on the technology. The interaction is perfect!”
B.PRO stadium catering also in the far north
What can be seen at BBBank Wildpark is not an isolated case: Stadium catering generally places high demands on technology because guest numbers fluctuate significantly from one match day to the next, and teams are made up of a small permanent core and many temporary staff. Catering solutions therefore need to be so robust and easy to operate that they function reliably under time pressure and with changing personnel.
B.PRO has also demonstrated its expertise in stadium catering at FC St. Pauli : As part of the conversion of the South Stand ballroom for the 2023/2024 season, the company equipped the new hospitality area in the Millerntor Stadium with professional food serving systems – including B.PRO COOK I-flex 3 and COOK classic models, as well as BASIC LINE modules as hot or cold buffets, soup stations or display cabinets. Martin Geisthardt, who supported the project in 2023 in his then role as Head of Marketing at FC St. Pauli, drew a positive conclusion after commissioning: “We have created a place where people will hopefully feel even more comfortable and where the catering will also set a new standard – naturally with kitchen technology that is state of the art.”
Following the successful project, B.PRO temporarily expanded its involvement and also became an official partner and regular player of the Hamburg district club.
Conclusion
Whether at BBBank Wildpark or at Millerntor: B.PRO has shown that the high demands of stadium catering can be met reliably with robust, flexible technology. For those responsible, this means clear added value: They receive a system that can be adapted to a wide range of match-day situations and has proven itself in practice.
