B.PRO at INTERNORGA 2026
From 13 to 17 March, all the big names in hospitality and food service will be getting together again in the north of Germany. B.PRO will also be at the INTERNORGA fair in Hamburg – showcasing how modern commercial catering works. The company's appearance will focus on product innovations and further developments for food serving, return and transport here.
The demands being placed on commercial catering operations are increasing. Restaurants and canteens need to organise processes more efficiently and comply with hygiene standards, while at the same time responding to new legal requirements. B.PRO is addressing these challenges head on and will be presenting solutions in Hamburg that both improve and expand existing processes in a targeted way. The company's trade fair appearance emphasises the strategy of thinking holistically with regard to food logistics.
Food serving with the BASIC LINE – technically optimised and consistently user-oriented
A central starting point in this regard is the serving of meals. With the further developed BASIC LINE serving line, B.PRO will be presenting specific solutions at INTERNORGA 2026 that focus on both technical performance and user-friendliness.
BASIC LINE SK: stable cooling performance from +4°C
The BASIC LINE SK modules with active contact cooling achieve significantly improved refrigerating capacity thanks to stable temperature control from just +4°C. For restaurants and canteens, this means greater process reliability at the cooled servery counter and constant conditions – also where capacity utilisation is high.

BASIC LINE UK: simplified cleaning and handling
Handling of the convection-cooled BASIC LINE UK has, in particular, been optimised. The cooling tray is now made of individual segments that are easy to remove and can be conveniently cleaned in the dishwasher. Integrated ventilation grates improve air circulation and ensure that no food gets stuck in gaps during plating. At the same time, the height of GN containers can be varied as standard to ensure clear and attractive presentation of goods, as well as being positioned at an angle.

BASIC LINE Kids diagonal: ergonomic and inclusive
With the BASIC LINE Kids diagonal, B.PRO is expanding its product line with a heated servery counter designed specifically to meet the needs of young guests and wheelchair users. A serving height of 750 millimetres, ergonomic spacing and the fact that food can be served from both sides speed up serving and make it easier to access food independently. This supports inclusive processes and strengthens independence in day-to-day canteen operations.
Designing efficient and compliant return processes
The process does not end with functional food serving. Indeed, the ways in which clearing and sorting are organised is also crucial for efficiency, hygiene and resource conservation.

BASIC LINE SST-3 sorting station: tray return with system
With the new BASIC LINE SST-3 sorting station, B.PRO organises tray returns directly on the serving line. Cutlery, organic waste, paper and plastics are separated intuitively and hygienically via dedicated chutes.
This is an area that is becoming increasingly important for restaurants and canteens. EU requirements for the reduction of food waste and separate collection of recyclable materials, such as the Waste Framework Directive (EU) 2025/1892, are increasing organisational pressure. A clearly structured sorting logic helps minimise incorrectly assigned waste and make processes traceable. The SST-3 is also available in a Kids version, supporting age-appropriate use at schools and daycare centres.

At educational institutions, returning trays is not just about logistics, but also offers a learning moment. When children clear up on their own, they become more aware of how they use resources.
With its integrated waste container and practically dimensioned storage surfaces, the MCS Kids mobile clearing station ensures a structured return and is suitable for all age groups.
It can also be flexibly customised to the needs of the respective restaurant or canteen. Depending on requirements, it can be equipped with a drip tray for depositing glasses and cups, a hanging frame for GN containers or an additional shelf for trays. This makes it easier to separate trays, dishes and waste in a structured way and to organise returns clearly. High-quality castors facilitate smooth transport back to the dishwashing area and support efficient processes in everyday work.
In this way, B.PRO combines organisational requirements with educational added value in day-to-day canteen operations.

SmartTray ID: award-winning automation on the food distribution conveyor
Where meals are customised – for example at hospitals – the last step on the conveyor belt determines both safety and efficiency. This is precisely where the SmartTray ID from B.PRO comes in.
Patient information, for example on diets and allergies, is printed directly onto the tray using a label and can be clearly read thanks to the QR code. The labels then dissolve in the dishwashing process without leaving behind any residue. B.PRO was honoured to be presented with the "NEXT of Market Award" in the "Efficiency" category at INTERGASTRA 2026.
The benefits associated with using SmartTray ID:
- All relevant information can be seen during loading
- Clear and secure assignment of food and patient data
- Saves time during the dishwashing process, no manual removal required
- Customisable print layout for various requirements
- Noticeable relief for staff during operations

Food transport – functional details with impact
In addition to serving and returns, B.PRO will also be focussing on food transport at INTERNORGA 2026.
With the B.PROTHERM K transport container, a functional customisation makes operation noticeably easier: The heating element of the front loaders with convection heater can now optionally be removed, also without tools thanks to the LOXX quick-release fastener. This greatly simplifies the cleaning process and also reduces the amount of maintenance work.
In Hamburg, B.PRO will also be showcasing its B.PROTHERM models produced from stainless steel and plastic in various sizes and configurations, as well as a wide range of serving trolleys. This offers visitors a comprehensive overview of the options for customising transport solutions to suit the specific requirements of their own restaurant or canteen.
